So, first I got a call that just ended as soon as I answered, then another one from a different number right after and the same thing happened - they hung up immediately. I rarely check this site but decided to today and all those numbers popped up here, and the calls were all made recently. Definitely seems suspicious to me.

Got a call on my phone around 12:50 pm on 17th May from a number I didn't recognise. I didn’t pick up. Honestly, if it’s someone important or genuine, they’d leave a message, right? So, to all the scammers, telemarketers or those fishing for info, please just stop calling us! We really don’t want or need these random calls. Stay safe out there, folks. A Doctor.

So this charlatan called claiming to be from British Gas, said they wanted to renew my subscription - problem is, I’ve never been with British Gas! They kept pushing for info, probably trying to get a load of personal details. I told them straight up I knew it was a scam and ended the call. Seriously, best thing is not to get involved with these lot at all!

Got a call from someone saying they were with Just Eat, trying to take over our order pad to somehow get into our account and nick cash. They asked for the owner but had no clue about the name. We checked with Just Eat, and they never ring about order pads since they already have access. Definitely a scam.

I received a call from a bloke with an Asian accent who was rambling on about issues relating to damp and dry rot in the home. Quite perplexing, considering that he dialled my mobile - a number I can hardly recall myself at times! It's only shared with those I deem necessary. I got a phone call from 01292 703608 with an Asian guy talking, there was a lot of noise in the back. He was trying that old trick about my BT internet being faulty or whatever. I left him on the line for like 10 minutes and kept stalling, asked him if he could hack my DIAL telephone. The bloke actually believed Dial was a proper firm! He got quite annoyed after a while.

I didn’t pick up when Google Assistant tried to screen the call. The caller just cut off straight away and didn’t say anything or leave a message. Probably one of those spam calls, but I usually don’t bother answering these since they started using that new Android feature.

Got a call from a guy with a thick Asian accent saying he was from O2. The line was terrible, but he kept going on about how everyone with O2 was getting 40% off their airtime.
