He asked if I fancied a poke with his meat sword. Bit cheeky, but fair enough, not all of us have gone veggie just yet. Thought I’d give it a whirl - you don’t really know till you try, right? But blimey, the sheer size of it! Just looking at the thing nearly brought a tear to my eye, no joke. The first couple of inches were alright, but then that thickness - that’s where it really got me. Felt like it was stretching me out proper, like a bishop’s guilty secret. I’ve been limping about all day since then!

Got a call a minute ago from someone saying they're with Loft Insulation UK. They reckoned they’d got my details from the Health and Safety Executive, which I quickly told them was rubbish. She kept going on about doing an insulation survey, asking how old my place was. I told her it’s a brand new build with plenty of insulation already. Then she pushed again saying they could still do the survey, but I just said no thanks and hung up. Would advise blocking that number - it’s just a random cold caller from Scotland hoping to get lucky.

Ah, it was a right laugh - he insisted that it didn't concern him since he wasn’t actually selling anything; rather, he was simply providing ‘helpful’ tips about loft insulation. I couldn't help but call him a fool. He tried to spar back with some nonsense, but after repetitively pointing out his idiocy and that he was bending the legal rules, he suddenly decided to hang up. What a joke!

Got a call from a guy with a Scottish accent trying to pitch loft insurance out of the blue.
