I got a call from some bloke trying to sell me something about loft insulation, but I told him I actually work as a domestic energy advisor. Then he claimed he was a domestic cleaner! These lot are total conmen and really rude too. Avoid them if you can.

I’ve had this woman ring me a couple of times about some loft insulation safety inspection. She kept asking what colour my insulation was, which seemed a bit odd. This call didn't come from Ayr, Scotland as I first thought, but actually from Faridabad in Haryana, India. I recognised the accent right away when they started talking. I didn’t hang around to hear why they were phoning though. Gets loads of calls from numbers starting with [01292 700 or 800], all cold calls. Decided to just cut the call off.
