On the 17th of September 2024, I got a call on my London landline from 01292 702 226. The person on the other end spoke with an Indian accent and claimed to be from BT, saying there was an issue with my internet. I noticed a slight pause before he started speaking, which seems pretty normal for call centres. Plus, there were sounds in the background that reminded me of a busy call centre. All in all, it felt like a scam, so I just ended the call.
