I was waiting for a call from O2 about my contract ending, but then got a ring from a number in Burnley, which seemed odd. The person said they were sorting out my cancellation, but it felt off when they asked for info O2 would already know. They didn’t even seem to know my name! When they mentioned a £1 charge to process the cancellation, I got really suspicious. Pretty sure it was a scammer, so I told them to buzz off and I’m going to report it.
