3 monthsThis number rang me earlier and some young Asian lady said she was calling from Three. Honestly, it’s the second dodgy call I’ve had today. I just started making weird noises into the phone and she quickly ended the call.3 monthsGot a text from a number I didn’t recognise saying they’d left me a voicemail, but something about it just didn’t seem legit.3 monthsA young woman with a strong accent called me, claiming my SIM card needed upgrading and that Three would send me a new one in a couple days. She asked for personal info to “verify” my identity - as if! Then she claimed I qualified for a discounted phone deal, an iPhone 17 with a SIM plan for £30 total, right. Of course, she wanted my bank details and said she’d send a one-time code that I’d need to share with her to get the discount. I wasn’t about to give any details, so she handed me over to her “manager” Zack. Zack tried to reassure me that my security concerns were pointless and asked me to grab pen and paper to write down the one-time code. I told him no, I was busy painting my fence (no lie), and he could call back later. Afterwards, I checked the Three app and sure enough, no SIM replacement needed and they never ask for one-time codes. It was obviously a scam. Accidentally I called them back while trying to get their number, but hung up straight away. Zack called back almost immediately. I told him I knew all about the scam, but he just kept pushing for a good few minutes before finally giving up and hanging up. I bet his mum must be so proud.Zack3 monthsSome lady rang saying she was from Three, and I told her I wasn’t interested. She then asked why not, so I told her it seemed like a scam. She got annoyed and ended up swearing at me.3 monthsI got a call one time from this number, claiming they was from Three and offered to lower my contract price.Three3 monthsGot two missed calls from this person, then they left a voicemail just saying their name and no other details.3 monthsGot a missed call from this number. This line is just for my tenants, so it’s really odd to see it ringing on my side. No idea why it would be calling me.Submit Your Own Report (01282 571657)
