I got a voicemail from someone claiming to be Dennis Grey's office about some legal issue with HMRE. They asked me to ring back on 01280474506. Sounded pretty dodgy to me.

Got the same voicemail once again from ‘officer denis grey.hmrc’ calling on a hotline, sounded like he had an American accent. Warned me about legal action, then casually said ‘take care’ at the end! Blocked the number right away.

Got a voicemail message from a number I don’t recognise, sounded like an American accent. The caller said they were from HMRC, something about Dennis Gray’s office, and mentioned some urgent request for info. They said if I didn’t call back, or if they ended up hearing from my lawyer, I’d be in big trouble legally. Definitely seemed dodgy, so I’ve just blocked the number since it’s obviously a spam call.
