Today, I received a call from what sounded like a dodgy overseas number, claiming to represent HMRC. The audacity of this bloke! He had the nerve to threaten me and label me a criminal! It's utterly ridiculous, as I've always been diligent with my tax payments!

Just like everyone else said here, I got this creepy robo call claiming to be from hmrc, telling me not to hang up and to ring them back or else i’d get into trouble. I’m pretty sure it’s just a scam to make me pay ridiculous fees. So I’ve decided to block the number straight away.

Got a creepy voicemail from some automated scam, sounded like they were warning me not to call back. Definitely felt threatening! Avoid replying for sure.

Got a dodgy voicemail from someone pretending to be hmrc, saying I or my solicitor should ring them back. The weird part was they ended with ‘prepare to face the consequences’ but, strange enough, also said ‘take care’ which honestly made me chuckle.

Got a call from a posh American voice, all pre-recorded, saying it was HMRC threatening legal trouble if I didn’t ring back. Tried calling the number they gave, but no one ever picked up. Really hoping this isn't some sort of scam or hack. Proper worried now.

Got a voicemail from some American-sounding robot saying it was customs. They said if I didn’t call back, they’d take legal steps against me. The whole message used weird American words that didn’t quite fit here.
