Got a call from someone with an Asian American accent, asking me about Sky equipment insurance - problem is, I don’t even have any Sky gear at home. Then they switched to asking if they could check if I’m getting the correct payments from the Government’s furlough scheme. I’m retired, so that’s not even relevant to me! Honestly, it felt like a total scam. Watch out, these folks are not to be trusted!

Got a call from someone saying my washing machine warranty was up, even though I just bought a brand new one with a valid warranty. Seemed fishy straight away, but what really creeped me out was they actually knew my name and where I live. Definitely felt like a scam.

It's crazy how these scam companies keep ringing me up. They're the worst! I just don’t pick up if the number isn’t saved in my contacts. Really wish the police would do something to put a stop to it.

Got a call from a woman who spoke with a really thick Asian accent, claiming she was from Sky and asking about our warranty info. I heard kids playing in the background, which made it sound dodgy right away. We don’t even have Sky, so I just ended the call straight away. Definitely a scam.

The guy was really pushy and kept grilling me about why I didn’t want to renew it. Definitely just trying to scam info, probably bank details. Watch out for these sorts of calls!
