We warned everyone to be careful and even gave a free Parker pen with the deal. We honestly wanted to give everyone their money back, but ended up getting flooded with complaints, so we had no choice but to shut the whole thing down. Such a shame, really :( !

Total scam. They called me, pretending it was about my washing machine warranty. I told them that wasn’t true and asked how they got my number. They said it came from the shop where I bought the machine. When I began mentioning GDPR rules, they just cut me off and hung up.

I received a call from a chap claiming to be from Sky Protection, keen to have a natter about my Sky box at home. He was going on about some supposedly essential security enhancements for my set-up. I politely mentioned that I wasn’t interested, but he pressed on, saying the upgrade was ‘compulsory’. That immediately raised my suspicions, and I clocked that I was dealing with a total fraudster.

Today, I received a call from someone claiming to be with Sky Protect, attempting to persuade me into renewing my plan with an astonishing discount. As soon as he mentioned the offer, alarm bells started ringing, and I realised straight away it was all a bit fishy. When he insisted on needing my bank details to 'complete the transaction', I promptly told him where to go!

Got a persistent ring from someone saying they were from "Sky Protect." When I asked, the bloke said he wasn't actually with Sky TV, but wanted to offer me protection insurance renewal. Thing is, my Sky box is old and the warranty ran out ages ago - I’ve only got normal home insurance now. I told him to send me the details in writing since he seemed to have my address, then I just hung up.

Somebody rang my mum claiming to offer washing machine insurance, but she told them to ring me instead in half an hour. We actually already have our washing machine covered. I firmly told him I'd rather not share that information and hung up. To my surprise, he called back a bit later, but I let my voicemail take it, and he didn’t bother leaving a message. Quite cheeky, if you ask me!
