Had this bloke on the phone claiming he was “working from home” cause of all this pandemic malarkey, trying to get me to renew my Sky insurance for a hundred quid. Then he added he could cover my telly for an extra £189.99. I said I actually work for Sky and we’re doing a documentary about scammers - if he wanted to share his info, he could get involved. Oddly, he just ended the call straight away.

Somebody rang me saying they were from Knowhow and my Washing Machine policy was about to run out. I told them I didn’t get my washer from Currys, then they said maybe it was John Lewis. I told them nope, you're way off. First off, I’ve never had a policy like that. Secondly, my washing machine was bought from a local shop, not those big chains. So I told him to do one and hung up. Total scam!
