Got two calls within 10 mins. They asked for Mrs something, I said no, she’s been living somewhere else for a decade now. Just ended the call. Proper nuisances.

I got a call from a bloke who asked if I was someone else, shouting out a name that wasn’t mine (I never say my name when I pick up). He seemed a bit lost and then quickly apologized before hanging up. This kind of thing happens now and then, with different numbers. Sometimes they say a name that’s close to mine but I just let it slide and hang up, then I usually check the number and block it with Call Protect if it looks dodgy.

Then they rang me back, and I was clear that I wasn’t sharing anything. The call ended with them saying they’d cancel my insurance, and I just said fine, do what you want.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from an insurance firm, they actually read my address back to me and asked if it was correct. I told them it wasn't then just waited... after a bit, they hung up without saying anything else. Funny how things turn out lol.
