This year alone, I've gotten half a dozen calls from these lot, each time some bloke different shouting over loud tunes. Honestly, they just sound like total scammers to me! I've reported them already.

Brian sounded like some kid who's just stuffing their face, it was so annoying! There's no way I could take him seriously or hear what he's trying to sell if he can't speak properly. Straight to the blocked list he went.

Just a heads up, BT (and Plusnet too) offer a free 1572 service where you can block numbers that are a pain. Of course, Sanctuary is already blocked on my end.

Today, I got a call from a woman whose voice sounded quite pleasant. She managed to confirm that my wife and I were who she believed, then started talking about the Care Act - at which point I just ended the call. I’m on the Telephone Preference Service and my number’s unlisted, so it puzzles me how they got my details. I usually hang up straight away if the call seems dodgy, especially if there’s an Asian accent. A few years back, I did the same when a woman said my M&S card had been used in the States - and that one actually turned out to be legit! Cheers, James.

Got a call from some woman claiming to be from Sanctuary, she asked for me by name. She started talking about this care act and said I might lose my house if I ever need to move into care. When I asked how she knew I owned a home, she just hung up on me. The house was actually my late mum’s, who had dementia, so clearly they’re going after elderly homeowners. Feels like they might even be watching this site. I’ve already reported it to Gov.UK and other places.

This wasn’t one of those typical annoying cold calls. A really nice bloke came round and gave me some great advice that actually helped. He checked out my place and did a few things to keep it safe so I’ll be able to leave it to my son. I’m proper grateful, thanks!

We've had these dodgy calls on our home phone twice so far, and just like before, they hang up straight away once the answer machine picks up. That number showing up is almost certainly faked, so don’t be fooled into thinking it's actually from Crewe. These con artists program their gear to ring loads of numbers at once, so I’ve adjusted our answering machine to kick in after just two rings. Hopefully, this bugs THEM a bit since our machine usually answers before the others do!

Got a call from someone named Rebecca (I think) claiming to be from Sanctuary and talking about some kind of "special offer" going on nearby. She didn't bother explaining what Sanctuary actually is or what they do, but honestly, I wasn't planning on accepting any deals anyway. She just seemed to wait for me to respond, so I told her I wasn't interested and ended the call.

Claimed he was calling on behalf of something called "Sanctuary" and mentioned a "care act" or whatever. Honestly, no clue what he meant. Ended up pretty annoyed after that chat.
