This is probably a scam call, not just spam - don’t ever say the name of the company they claim to work for, you can verify it yourself and that’s a big hint. There’s loads of scams out there about insurance, life plans, funeral plans, warranties - you can’t trust cold callers at all these days. Best to report it to 'Action Fraud' - just google 'action fraud', pick the 'police.uk' site, then click on the 'reporting' section (avoid other crime report links) and choose 'report a phishing attempt'. Follow the steps from there.

I got a call about reviewing my life insurance. I told them if I wanted to do that, I would get in touch with my insurer myself. I’m not interested in chatting with some stranger from a company I’ve never heard of. The woman kept saying my insurance provider should have told me that review firms might call me now and then. I asked her several times to remove me from their list, but she just kept on pushing. In the end, I just ended the call. Properly annoying company!
