As soon as I picked up the phone, they hung up straight away. Such a pointless exercise to answer, really. In my opinion, this kind of call definitely falls under the annoying category.

I picked up this number twice. The first call, a really loud guy asked for my husband but he wasn’t around, and he refused to leave a message. Next time they rang, I didn’t answer right away, but when I did, the bloke again wanted my husband. I said he wasn’t home and asked what it was about. He said it was something to do with his life insurance, but when I wanted to know the company, he just snapped that he couldn’t say since I’m not my husband and kinda rudely asked if he would call back. The guy was pretty pushy and loud both times.

This person kept ringing my wife nonstop, saying they were from the legal department at general life insurance via the post office insurance. They wouldn’t accept her refusal and then ended up dialing from a different Welsh number, but that number isn’t linked to any business as far as I can see. Proper annoying!

I got three calls within five minutes, and on the other end they were just laughing at me, breathing all heavy and mocking me. Proper nasty behaviour.
