Got a call from this number earlier. The guy started by saying my first name, like "Hello, is that...". His intro was so quick I couldn’t catch what he said, so I asked him to say again where he was ringing from. He just said "I’m from the review department." When I asked “Review of what exactly?” he just cut off the call. Proper irritating - if he had a legit reason for calling he’d have explained more instead of just hanging up.

They tried to make it sound like they’re linked to Legal and General, saying they work "along side" them, which honestly felt like a sneaky way to make you think they’re part of the big company or on their team - but nope, they admitted they’re just an independent finance outfit. I’m pretty sure they got their phone list off Legal and General, which really grinds my gears, so I reckon Legal and General need to be told off for this too!
