Got a call from someone with an Indian accent claiming to be from the "Credit Investigation Department." I just ended the call straight away.

When I picked up the call, there was no intro about the company. The person I spoke to couldn’t even explain how they had obtained my info, just said it came from “a website” but wouldn’t be any more specific. I looked up the company name they gave me and it’s nowhere to be found on Google. Doesn’t seem very trustworthy at all!

Got a ring from Andover earlier today. Some bloke said he was David from Currys. I just hung up straight away.

I got two calls from these people claiming they could lower my broadband and landline charges. It’s got nothing to do with O2, and I have no clue how they even got my name and address. I just hung up and blocked the number straight away. Thought cold callers weren’t allowed to ring us anymore!

I wouldn’t pick up that number if I were you. It’s one of those premium rate ones and you just end up paying loads. Best thing is to just block and ignore, nobody really gets anything good from answering.

The phone rang twice, then the call disconnected abruptly.
