Got a call from scammers saying you can get money back from the council for jobs that werent done properly. Then they try to get your bank info to sort out the claim but you end up with nothing. Avoid them!

Got a call where the guy asked for me by my first name. He claimed there were some benefits on my life insurance, which I definitely don’t have. I told him I had no idea what he was going on about. Then he told me I was being really rude, even though he was the only one speaking, so no clue how he thought that. His English was pretty broken too. When I picked up, there was a long silence before he said anything. The whole thing felt odd.

not sure who rang me on my phone from this number but when i picked up, the person said ‘hello’ with a strange foreign accent, sounding like they thought someone else had called them! i could hear a bunch of chatter in the background, like a call centre or something, which felt a bit dodgy so i just ended the call and checked the number here. after reading all the negative reviews and weird stuff linked to it, i’ve just blocked the number now.

However, after my wife kindly declined his proposition, he launched into a tirade of foul language before abruptly ending the conversation. Quite shocking, really!
