I’ve been receiving calls from these annoying numbers around three or four times weekly. It’s always a fresh number, typically linked to a big city. I tend to ignore them and just block them straight away. I suspect it all kicked off after I applied for a quick loan and provided my phone number; prior to that, I never had these issues. Clearly, my details have been sold off in some database!

I had an absolutely dreadful experience with a so-called national service regarding council housing repairs. The thing is, I've never lived in a council property! I requested them to remove my number from their system, but they just hung up on me. To make matters worse, they rang me again without so much as a message left on my voicemail.
