For the last week and a bit, I've been inundated with calls from all corners of the country - South Shields, Bideford, Chelmsford, Andover, you name it! My phone number is relatively fresh, so I can count on one hand the people who actually have it. I did answer one of the first calls out of curiosity, and it turned out to be someone claiming to represent Carphone Warehouse. To be fair, I've never had any interactions with that company at all. What's particularly frustrating is that these calls are coming from landline numbers. Surely it's not beyond the realm of possibility for these nuisances to be traced and put to an end?
