Got a call about renewing my O2 contract, I told the guy I’m not even with O2 and he just hung up on me straight away.

Got a call from a person who didn’t even say my name right! Said they were from O2, trying to give me a 30% reduction on my bills for a year. Weirdly, about 3 minutes before, I had another call from O2 but a different number. I told them I’m actually with Sky and they just ended the call. I’ve blocked the number now!

Somebody called claimin to be Oscar from O2, their English was a bit off, which isn’t always a red flag since we have so many cultures working here now. But when I asked him where exactly he was calling from, he started annoyingly spelling out O2 like "O as in Oscar," then just cut the call! I reckon he twigged that using a fake name like that gave him away as a scammer 😂

Got a recorded call about some unknown charges on my account, listing the details and saying to press 2 if I want to accept or talk to someone. When I pressed 2, the line just cut off. Tried calling back the number and it connected to Next Telecom, a company I’ve never heard of and definitely don’t bank with. Classic scam, just another one to watch out for.
