I received a call from someone with an Asian accent who claimed to be representing the "Phone House Company." They inquired about the type of phone I was using and mentioned something about upgrading my contract. didn't know the number and couldn’t make out what the lady was saying because of her strong foreign accent, but she said something about a mobile phone. figured it was a scam and didn’t let her continue. told her i couldn’t understand and ended the call straight away. i’d tell anyone who gets calls like this to do the same. don’t waste your time on these lot!

someone pretending to be from ‘carphone warehouse’ but obviously not. i picked up my kid’s phone and told the person to take the number off their list since the user is under 16. they wouldn’t listen, and the bloke got quite rude, saying he’d keep ringing. even after i explained it was a child’s phone again, he still wouldn’t comply. i ended the call and he rang back saying the call dropped, but i told him once more to delete the number and he still said no.

I've had a rather unpleasant experience with a company claiming to be Fonehouse. They lure you in with the promise of a new phone, only to send you a far pricier model instead. The end result? They were quite insistent on asking a series of questions that seemed designed to elicit affirmative responses-definitely a tactic I tend to avoid. Received a call from an individual purporting to be from "Yourclaimscompany". They knew my name, which I found a bit unsettling. When I requested clarification about the company's identity and what they were specifically dealing with, they abruptly ended the conversation.
