I got a call from a firm chasing me for old debts. If you answer and give them any personal info, that’s like admitting you owe the money, even if it’s from years ago. Mine was from over 6 years back and they still wanted to chase me. Honestly, just don’t respond and they’ll probably stop hassling you after a while. Best thing I did was just ignore their calls.

This number keeps ringing me, the caller says they're Scott Ferguson from Capquest, claiming it's something personal. They try to get me to confirm my full name and date of birth, but I just hang up. What's worse, they’re contacting my parents' phone at all hours, even though it’s an unlisted number. They’ve even asked my mum and dad if they have an alternative number for me. I emailed Capquest to ask why they constantly ring my parents asking for me, but they told me there’s no one by my name in their records! I asked them again to stop calling my parents and where on earth they got that number from since it’s not listed anywhere. No reply to that, and yet they’re still phoning twice a day for nearly two months straight now. It’s pretty annoying and frankly quite intrusive.
