Heads up, got a dodgy text this morning from someone saying they’re 'Capquest'. It read, "You might have paid us too much and can get some money back." They want you to get in touch about the refund! ANNOYANCE - I've now lodged a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office about this company. They began ringing my ex-directory landline back in November 2021. I don’t owe any money and definitely never gave Cap Quest permission to get in touch. Also, I've never got any letters or emails from them. It’s worrying to think what might happen if they were pestering older or vulnerable folks! I honestly don’t see why I should have to change my private landline just because of their pestering.
