I received a rather alarming voicemail from this number, which was recorded and quite menacing. In it, I was instructed to press one or face the suspension of my national insurance number. Given the nature of the threat, I opted to inform the police about the incident.

Got a voicemail that didn’t say who it was, but was full of threats about "serious consequences" and "freezing your NI number" unless you hit a button to talk to someone. Definitely sounds like a dodgy scam to me.
