Got a call from 01248209514, some asian lady asking for a Mr Bridman. Told her he no longer lives here. Then she wanted the landline’s owner. I asked why, she claimed she was from TPS wanting to verify payment info. I said if that were true, she’d already know who owns the number now. Next thing, she just hung up on me.

I got a call from someone who said they had my postcode. Then they started asking for my visa debit card info. They rang twice and managed to fool me into giving some personal stuff. They claimed to be from TPS, but really wanted my direct debit details and tried to verify me. Very dodgy call!

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent on 01248-209514. He said he was from the TPS, checking on my membership or summat. He kept asking about my BT phone bill direct debit, kept going on about it being free, then said he just needed details from my cheque book. Didn’t sit right with me, so I just ended the call.

I received a call this morning from a number claiming to be the Telephone Preference Service, supposedly to assist me in blocking unwanted marketing and nuisance calls. However, there was something off about the woman on the line; she had an Asian accent but spoke very eloquently. It just didn’t sit right with me, so I chose to hang up.

Got a call from a guy claiming to be with the telephone preference service, saying he’d sort me out so no more junk calls would come through. He sounded Indian and seemed to know a bit too much about me - my address, age and that kind of stuff. It felt dodgy so I didn’t carry on with the chat. Told him I’d ring him back and then he just hung up on me. Watch out for this one, something wasn’t right.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with TPS, asking all sorts of stuff about my bank card. Felt a bit dodgy, especially when this woman with an Asian accent started talking about a 'senior verification officer' or something like that. Didn’t trust it and just ended the call right there.

Got a ring from this number earlier claiming they were from the TPS. Felt fishy straightaway, so I gave BT customer support a shout. They confirmed it was definitely a scam, saying they only have a single TPS number and there was no trace of any call made from them. They warned me not to hand over any info, as legit TPS folks wouldn’t ask for any personal details anyway.

I keep recieving calls for a Mr Mills, usually from people with Asian accents. Every time, I tell them they've got the wrong number and they say they're from TPS. I've had enough now and stopped being nice about it. These calls are such a pain.
