As someone on the receiving end, it’s rubbish that we can’t find out who’s behind these calls. Why does the TPS just sit back and do nothing about these nuisance calls? They really should have the authority to track down who owns these numbers and fine or take legal action against them to put a stop to these scammers bothering folks.

ABSOLUTE NUISANCE! - Just a pest that wouldn’t quit - rang me twice in a span of three hours without so much as a cheeky message left behind. Honestly, it’s the same old story with these calls: if you’re going to bother us, at least have the decency to leave a word or two! But, oh no! You ring and just go quiet? What on earth is that about? Do yourself a favour and take the hint - if you can’t muster up a message, then do us all a favour and don’t bother calling us again!

The call begins with "We’re just getting in touch to let you know about..." (I hang up straight away because I get this same call all the time, sometimes nearly every week). got a call from that cassette spam, "hello, just letting you know about government funding" - absolute rubbish! signed up for the TPS ages ago, if only it worked or virgin actually blocked these annoying spammers. they prob know who they are but prefer the tiny bit of money over keeping customers happy. called me at 6:40pm.
