Got a call from someone calling himself 'George' from 'Currys Mobile' trying to sell me an iPhone 13 upgrade. Sounded like he was in a buzzing call centre in India. I asked for a number to ring him back, and he gave me 0191 3084 432. But that number just doesn’t connect for me when I try. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

A bloke with a thick Indian accent rang me up saying he was from Currys, pushing some iPhone offer for just £35 a month! He kept pestering me, asking, "What do you reckon of that deal?" When I asked where he got my number, he just went on about the iPhone deal again. After I asked a second time, he said something like, "Oh, come on, you're the only one today not accepting the offer." I ended the call and thanks to this website, I can tell for sure this number and caller aren’t actually from Currys marketing at all!

Got a call today at 4.32 pm from a bloke with a strong Indian accent saying he was from Royal Mail. I had a feeling it was dodgy so I told him straight and hung up. Not long after, he rang back on another number asking for my email. I told him if he really worked for Royal Mail, he’d already have my address and could just send the info in the post. Then I ended the call once again!

These calls began a couple days ago from a woman claiming her name was Amy. Her English wasn’t great and she kept insisting I owed money and had to pay up immediately or they’d sue me. I got really irritated and hung up straight away because I know it’s total rubbish - I’ve never owed anything in my life.
