It seems I've received a rather dodgy call from Coatbridge in Scotland. The person on the line had a thick foreign accent and was quite hard to understand. I decided it was best to hang up on them.

I got a call from a man with a strong Indian accent who wasn’t very clear in English, said he was from a firm called Solution A with the number 01236267032. He started trying to sell me a phone contract. When I asked how they got my number, he mentioned Car Phone Warehouse. I told him I wasn’t looking and asked him to remove my details from their list, but then he got quite rude and started hurling insults at me. I ended up reaching out to Car Phone Warehouse and they told me to take it up with the Ombudsman.

I had a rather peculiar experience with a woman calling from this number. She was insistent about discussing O2 Mobile, but when I sidestepped her questions about my own provider, she became increasingly pushy. After a bit of back and forth, she seemed to get frustrated and simply hung up on me. I'd recommend steering clear of this number if you can.

This number just rang me, but I actually got a call from a very similar number, just with the last digit different, not long ago. When I tried calling back, there was a really awful dial tone at first and then after a few seconds, this terrible robotic voice came on saying something like "welcome to aq... energy." The sound was so rubbish I couldn’t quite catch the name properly. Considering the slight variation in the digits, I’m pretty sure it’s dodgy and probably a scam.
