This is the second time I've been called by someone saying they're from Carphone Warehouse. The guy says his name is Alex, but he has an accent from the Indian subcontinent. He then starts asking me which phone I use and which network I’m with. I just ended the call straight away.

Got a call from someone pretending to be from Three mobile. Asked what network I used and I said they should already know. She said she wasn’t sure since she worked in sales. Didn’t know I’m really with Three. Definitely a scam, strong Indian accent. Blocked and reported straight away.

I don’t even have a sister, so I told him that and kept messing with him for a bit. Definitely dodge this number and put it on your block list.

I just had a rather dodgy phone call, supposedly from someone at Carphone Warehouse. The chap, with an Indian accent, claimed he could give me a whopping 40% off and then proceeded to ask me to verify my personal details. Surely, if he’s calling me about a discount, he should have my info on file? It all seemed a bit too good to be true, so I decided to end the call and block the number.
