01234567891 rang me up saying 'Hello Inland Revenue' and then asked which dept I was in and wanted my name. I told them they’d rung me first and when they asked again I just said NO and hung up. Received a call from this number, 01234567891. The bloke on the line had a rather foreign accent. He introduced himself as 'Jeff' and inquired about when I had Sky TV. The moment we said we weren't interested, he abruptly hung up. Curious behaviour, to say the least!

Received a call from this number around half past nine in the morning. When I answered, there was silence on the other end, so I ended the call. I've experienced similar calls from this and various other numbers before. It’s a real shame that I can’t just block these pesky outgoing calls! They're bothersome to say the least, but I can’t help but feel for those who might fall for their tricks.

I've been inundated with calls from this particular number lately. The initial one was from a woman with a foreign accent who rattled off something quickly before abruptly disconnecting. Then there was another call that was just dead air before it cut off! It's becoming increasingly frustrating with the number of nuisance calls I seem to get on a daily basis!

Someone should seriously sort these idiots out. The cops?? These calls are just pure harassment and could be really harmful. It was 8.29am on Christmas Eve when they started ringing - nice way to start the day! I recognise the number now so I just ignore it, but it’s totally ridiculous and could scare people who are more vulnerable. Sounds like it’s coming from a landline (maybe somewhere in Bedford?), right? Why don’t they just cut the line, find the culprits and arrest them? I’m definitely going to report this to the police.

I had a rather peculiar phone call earlier from 01234567891. I simply put the receiver down as there was nothing but silence on the other end. Furthermore, I've been inundated with calls from 01517850011, purporting to be Microsoft Technical Support. Got two calls on my home phone today from numbers I didn’t recognise. I’ve started letting all unknown callers go straight to voicemail, but of course, no message is ever left. Anyone genuine would leave one. I mark these numbers as ‘scam’ or ‘block’ and save them as new contacts, so next time their number pops up, I’ll know not to bother answering.

I seem to get one of these calls nearly every day, with some chaps claiming to be from Microsoft. I've taken to telling them straight out that I recognise it as a scam and ask them to stop bothering us. They usually just cut the line right away. It’s incredibly frustrating! I’m on the Telephone Preference Service as well - so why on earth can't they be put an end to?

I received a rather dubious phone call purportedly from Microsoft claiming they needed my mother's CLS number because her computer was allegedly compromised by ransomware. She answered the phone, and when she mentioned that she was on the telephone preference service, the caller didn’t seem fazed at all. It was quite clear that he was determined to collect information, dismissing her attempts to engage as if she was clueless. I suggested she challenge him by asking what operating system she had, since if they were so knowledgeable, they should know that detail. To our surprise, his answer was incorrect. My brother, who works in IT, assured us that legitimate companies like Microsoft don't make unsolicited calls, nor does Google for that matter. It would be prudent for Microsoft to issue a warning through Windows to alert users to this kind of scam. The phone number alone raised a lot of red flags!

Received a call at 8 in the morning from a lady purporting to be from Microsoft Windows. She wanted to discuss an issue with my computer, but I firmly told her that I wasn't comfortable having that conversation. However, she persisted. She then proceeded to ask whether I owned a Microsoft device, to which I responded that she already claimed to know this since it was her reason for calling. At that point, she seemed quite flustered and claimed she was from Microsoft, threatening to cut off my IP address if I didn’t confirm my details. To my astonishment, she hung up on me before I could even respond!

I've been inundated with these phone calls lately! I nearly got taken in by one of them. They claimed to be from Microsoft's tech support, telling me my computer was infested with all sorts of malware. It's obviously a con, yet it seems like there's no way to block them even with the telephone preference service in place. It's a real nuisance, so I've got to keep my wits about me!

I had a call from this number today, claiming they had information about my computer. It was clearly a scam, albeit quite cleverly executed - I can see how it might trick someone unsuspecting. I received a call from this number in the wee hours of the morning today. Fortuitously, I didn’t manage to pick it up in time. These lot won’t stop ringing me, claiming someone reported "dangerous" stuff I supposedly downloaded. I told them I've got about a million firewalls and antivirus ready to handle anything! Wasn't interested at all, but the bloke with an Asian accent just kept droning on. I interrupted and told him I didn’t want their calls, then hung up. Guess what, he called back to ask why I ended the call! Seriously! Also, the number won’t let you ring back, just goes straight to an unreachable tone.

I get calls from this woman nearly every day, sometimes twice a day. I try to answer but usually let it ring 4 or 5 times because someone else usually picks up before me. When I tried to trace the number, it turned out to be a bought number, so nothing really wrong with it. But honestly, the authorities can't do much cause there's some big business involved behind it all.

Despite my constant inquiries, he refused to provide an answer. If this is indeed a BT line, they should surely have records of who is using it and where they are based. So, why aren’t the authorities investigating this?

Got calls from someone pretending to be Microsoft support. They try to get you to open event viewer via command prompt and then say a regular system file is some kind of virus or hack that must be deleted. After that, they try to get you to install their dodgy software to "sort it out". Had a few calls from different numbers like this. Proper scam.

Received a call earlier today. They were rather insistent, so I mentioned that my son was using my computer at the moment. Apparently, they'll be ringing me again tomorrow. I couldn't help but feel rather uneasy about the whole thing. I'm relieved I did some digging online, as they seem to have no clue what might be awaiting them when they call back.

01234567891 keeps ringing me up pretending to be from Microsoft. They’ve called loads over the past few weeks which is really frustrating, especially since I’m registered on the telephone preference service. They always say they’re from Windows and get all defensive when I call them out as scammers! Sometimes their number even shows up on my missed calls, but I wasn’t even home to pick up.

Received a call earlier claiming that my Microsoft Windows was harbouring illegal software. I instantly felt a sense of doubt creeping in, so I advised them that my system is fully protected and hung up. Relieved to find out my instincts were spot on!

I've gotten calls from this number as well, with someone pretending to be from Microsoft. The best thing to do if you want something done is to report it to the police’s Action Fraud team. They’ve got a website where you can make a report and a phone line you can ring on 0300 123 2040. I’ve already reported this number, but I’d really recommend others do the same, because the more reports they get, the better chance there is of them actually doing something about it.

They keep ringing and just hang up. I've got this silly playground whistle and the moment I realise its a scam call, I let rip on it straight down the phone. Might not stop them for good but it defs cheers me up! Haha!

I've been receiving incessant calls from a foreign lady who claims to be affiliated with Microsoft. It's becoming quite unbearable, with the latest call coming in on Saturday, 12th November 2016, at the crack of dawn, 8:30am. It jolted us awake, and I finally snapped and told her to just bugger off! What really grinds my gears is that my father is currently in a care home, so every time the phone rings early doors, I can't help but dread the worst. This has all the hallmarks of a scam; quite frankly, these fools must think we're thick as two short planks! It's an utter pain in the neck-I reckon they ought to face hefty fines for this harassment!

This number 01234567891 keeps popping up on my landline, always scammers ringing me. They keep calling on my mobile too, it’s driving me crazy! I end up telling them I’ll call the POLICE and warn them not to bother again, but they don’t stop. It’s almost every day now, I’m losing my patience! Does anyone know how to block or stop these scam calls? This is the number I see on my caller ID every time one of these calls comes through on my landline.

Fraudsters pretending they’re from Microsoft! They say they need to sort out some problem on your PC by controlling it remotely, but really they’re just nicking all your private data. Proper nasty. Best thing to do is just cut them off and block the number if you can.

I received a rather unwelcome call from this number at precisely 7:50 this morning, on the 10th of November, 2016. An Asian woman on the other end of the line claimed to be representing Microsoft Windows. I bluntly told her to clear off and expressed my indignation regarding the early hour she chose to ring. I firmly believe she was up to no good, and shortly after, she disconnected the call. It’s frustrating as I constantly receive these sorts of calls, all purporting to be from Microsoft. I was under the impression that BT was meant to be taking steps to block these pesky nuisance calls.

This number keeps ringing a 90 year old lady who’s got bad Alzheimer’s. They always phone early, like from 7:30am and it’s really annoying. We’ve asked them to stop so many times but they just carry on calling. It’s always someone with an Asian accent asking about a computer. We’ve explained the house is hers and her situation, yet they still keep phoning.

They do speak English but it’s like they don’t get what you’re saying, kept telling them I was busy, yet they kept going on and on. They sounded so desperate. Pretty clear it’s a scam, they called me once already before.

I've received multiple calls from this number lately. It's a woman with a South Asian accent claiming to be from BT. It's definitely a con. They've managed to dupe one of my neighbours out of £160! They keep insisting there's an issue with your computer that they can resolve over the phone, which is utter nonsense. I pressed her for the name of the company she represented, and once more she insisted it was BT. I shot back that she was nothing more than a dodgy scammer, and before I could finish my sentence, she told me to “F-off” and cut the line. If you hear someone with an Asian accent on the other end, it’s almost certainly a scam. Trust me on this one.

Received a call this afternoon from someone claiming to be from Microsoft. An Asian woman named Christine Wilson introduced herself. I quickly realised it was a scam, so I decided to keep her on the line for about twenty minutes. She insisted there was an issue with my Windows 10 computer and that she required remote access to resolve it. No way was I falling for that! She seemed to lose patience after a while and eventually ended the call. Beware of this number; it feels like it's coming from a virtual source.

I’m absolutely sick and tired of receiving calls from this number. They claim to be from Microsoft Windows and insist I need to power up my computer so they can help sort out some issues. When I pressed them about what exactly the problem was, they didn't respond. I even asked for my name to be confirmed - and guess what? They just hung up! Then, not half an hour later, I get another call from them saying it's not a scam. Honestly, I wouldn't trust that for a second!

THIS NUMBER IS DEFINITELY A SCAM, THEY CLAIMED TO BE FROM MICROSOFT WINDOWS (NOT TRUE) THEN SAID THERE WERE ISSUES WITH MY COMPUTER (TOTALLY FALSE) AND SAID THEY NEEDED ACCESS TO MY BUSINESS TO SORT IT OUT (ABSOLUTE LIE). I TOLD THEM I HAD WRITTEN DOWN THE NUMBER AND WOULD GET IN TOUCH WITH MICROSOFT DIRECTLY, AFTER THAT THEY HUNG UP ON ME TWO TIMES. PLEASE WARN EVERYONE YOU KNOW ABOUT THIS SCAM, IT COULD BE SOMEONE IN YOUR FAMILY THEY TARGET NEXT.

I received a call from an Asian gentleman named Malcolm, and let me tell you, he was rather confrontational. When I mentioned that we didn't possess any laptops or computers, he became quite irate. I inquired about my name, and surprisingly, he couldn't provide an answer. Then, I pressed him on the origins of this ID number he claimed to have, yet again, he had no response. He started to raise his voice, and eventually hung up after I chuckled and said, "It's curious how you managed to come by an ID number linked to a laptop or computer that simply doesn't exist." It’s becoming increasingly tiresome. What can be done to halt these incessant calls? They seem to ring me multiple times a day!
