Hate those holidays calls, they just won't stop ringing so had to block the number.

Got a call from 01232 697820 claiming to be DHL, but that number definitely isn’t theirs. When I rang back, the voicemail didn’t even mention DHL at all. Seems dodgy to me.

Got a call from 01232 804 575 from someone claiming to be Peter, talking about a debt or payment owed to Sky - couldn’t quite catch the details. I asked nicely a few times where they got my number, but all they said was “it’s Sky”. I explained that I’ve never dealt with Sky before, hadn’t given this number to any broadband provider, and that I’m on the TPS. Despite that, the caller kept going, so I told him I knew it wasn’t genuine and that I’d be hanging up. Not to jump to conclusions, but the accent definitely didn’t match what I’d expect from someone called Peter.

I got a call while my phone was charging and out of reach. Curiosity got the better of me, so I looked up the area code online and saw a few warnings. After that, I checked my missed calls on my iPhone, tapped the "i" symbol, and scrolled down to choose the option to block the number.

I received a call from this number at the crack of dawn. As soon as I answered, the line went silent. It's a good idea to alert your older family members that they might receive calls from con artists, particularly at times when they're still groggy.

I just had a call from the number 01232 ###, claiming to be Amazon and asking for my account information. The voice on the line had a foreign accent, almost like it was from the Far East. I decided it was best to cut the call short.

I've been receiving a constant barrage of calls from those pesky 01232 numbers, and they're definitely not leaving me in peace.

BT's Call Minder successfully blocks these sorts of calls. It seems like it could either be a robotic dialler that simply can't navigate this technology, or perhaps those bothersome nuisances prefer to keep their identities hidden since they’re required to announce themselves. While the number used gets logged, the good news is that my phone doesn't even ring. What a relief!

I’ve just had a phone call from the number ‭01232 ###‬, which turned out to be one of those automated messages. It was urging me to press 1 to talk about some supposed deduction of £### for Amazon Prime from my bank account. I decided to hang up and did a quick search on Google, where I stumbled upon this discussion.

I've been inundated with calls from this number lately. The simplest solution I've found is to purchase an answering machine and let it screen all the calls; that way, I can disregard any unfamiliar voices. It’s a clever way to make them foot the bill each time they ring me!

I've been receiving calls from 01232### several times daily. When I pick up, there’s absolute silence on the other end, and then the line goes dead. Quite the nuisance, really!

I keep receiving calls from various 01232 numbers. It’s the same old routine: the caller lingers for a bit before cutting off. It’s becoming quite the nuisance!

01232### received a call where they didn’t bother to say anything before hanging up. I have a sneaky suspicion it's the same group of dimwitted nuisances who’ve called me four times already today, using various area codes from Scotland down to Wales and even Cornwall! They claim to be from Talk Talk, but their accents give them away - definitely Indian. Probably find it less hassle than earning a proper wage, I wager!

I got a rather peculiar automated call from 01232 ###, purporting to be from BT. The voice was distinctly eloquent, reminiscent of a BBC presenter. They stated I was on the verge of disconnection due to an unpaid bill. The thing is, I haven't been with BT for ages, so it seems they might have managed to dig up some outdated information on me. Quite the odd situation!

I've been receiving calls from a firm by the name of Consumer Benefits, which seems to reach out to me nearly every day, utilising different numbers, both landlines and mobiles. Every time, it's the same routine - predominantly Asian accents on the line. They insist on having me partake in some survey or another, but it quickly spirals into a deluge of phone calls from various other companies once you entertain them. I've honestly lost track of how many times I’ve expressed my desire for them to cease and desist, yet the calls persist without fail. Absolutely infuriating!
