Go on, keep them yapping. Spin a believable tale about a motoring mishap. Really stretch it out, if you can. Tune in to how they react when they think they’ve got something juicy on their hands. When they inevitably prod about any injuries, just drop the bomb: say there were 39 because you ploughed into a bus. Just hold your breath and relish the silence as the absurdity sinks in... You can almost hear the gears turning as they clamber to grasp that you’re having a laugh. Then, when you hear that click as they cut the line, it’s all over. Bet they won’t bother calling back again!

I was inundated with calls—six in just one hour, then they struck again the following day! Despite my firm insistence that I've never been involved in an accident, since I don’t even drive, they continued to hound me relentlessly. I’ve finally had enough and reported them; I've also gone ahead and blocked that number. Absolutely ridiculous!

It appears to be an insurance con, but what's concerning is that they had my name. I suspect my number has been circulated, and it seems these individuals will keep passing it around. It’s unfortunate that they’ve now verified it's an active line.

I picked up, but they just dropped the line. I’ve now blocked them, but the fact that they’ve registered my number as active is a bit worrying. It's likely they’ll add it to one of those databases they sell off to other dodgy characters, who will then ring from numbers that don’t show up on caller ID. And thus the cycle continues, doesn’t it?

Received a call where the person mentioned my name right off the bat. When I politely asked who it was, they curtly replied ‘no’ and promptly ended the conversation. Straight onto my block list they go! What a rude chap!

Picked up the phone and could hear a call centre buzzing away in the background. They said "hello" and then abruptly ended the call. Decided to ring them back, but all I got was 30 seconds of some dreadful hold music before I gave up and hung up myself. Total time-waster!

This is now the second occasion I've picked up the phone for this number; the first time was back on the 13th of April in 2016. I answered with a polite "Hello," only to be greeted by the sound of a woman chatting away to someone else, before abruptly ending the call. I’ve since taken the liberty of blocking the number to avoid any more pointless interruptions.

This number keeps ringing me incessantly! I eventually picked up, and it turns out they were inquiring about an accident I was involved in. When I pressed for details, it became clear they were utterly clueless. Seems a bit suspicious, so I’d recommend just blocking it!

I received a call regarding a car accident I supposedly had. The odd thing is, I don’t actually drive! When I pointed this out, the caller suggested I must have been in the car as a passenger. I inquired about the location of the incident, but he was quite vague and said he couldn't provide me with any details. Then, just like that, he ended the call! Quite bizarre, really.
