I reckon I’ll pick up next time and see if they ask for a Miss (the previous owner of the number), tell them to “hold on a sec” while I go get her, then shout my head off down the phone and hang up. Sounds like they're calling from India based on the accent, and it's most likely a con. Don’t give them any details - just end the call or act like it’s not you. Asking them to take you off their list is pointless since they're abroad and don’t follow UK rules, plus, they’re just trying to trick you. I quite like the suggestion of answering with 'hello, can I take your order?' If you’re not up for that, your best bet might be a call blocker or maybe even sending a firm complaint to the Mumbai Times.
