Sounds like they're calling from India based on the accent, and it's most likely a con. Don’t give them any details - just end the call or act like it’s not you. Asking them to take you off their list is pointless since they're abroad and don’t follow UK rules, plus, they’re just trying to trick you. I quite like the suggestion of answering with 'hello, can I take your order?' If you’re not up for that, your best bet might be a call blocker or maybe even sending a firm complaint to the Mumbai Times.

Yeah, defo some kind of scam coming from Dominica in the Gulf of Mexico. Sometimes someone picks up, sometimes it’s just silence. They’re trying to get you to ring back, and if you do, you could get hammered with premium charges, like £2 a minute or even more. Best just to ignore it.
