Got a call about doing an energy check, but kept asking if this number was tied to my address, seemed like they were fishing for info I wasnt comfy giving out (no idea what they would do with it). Had quite a thick foreign accent which made it tricky to follow. They claimed it wasn’t a sales pitch, but it definitely felt like it was steering that way. Anyway, I’ve blocked the number now.

Just got a call from this number, but I let it go to voicemail. Predictably, no message was left. Judging by other comments, it seems like a typical scam. For some weird reason, they tend to ring during tea time.

I didn’t get a message on my answering machine, but I did catch a noise in the background that sounded just like the one from a call I had earlier from 0121 2703735. Seems to me it’s probably the same call centre making these calls, maybe using VOIP to hide where they’re actually ringing from.

I received a call from a lady with an Indian accent who was attempting to sell me on some so-called home heating upgrades for my country. It was clearly an unsolicited call from an unfamiliar number, so I opted to cut the conversation short and not delve into it any further.

Got a call from a person claiming to represent a firm linked to Legal and General. They were trying to say if I have life insurance, there’s a chance I could get some money back on the premiums. When I asked for the company’s name spelling, the caller just ended the call suddenly. Very strange.
