I received a rather dubious phone call from someone who pretended to be from an insurance firm, claiming that I had been in a car accident six months prior. This individual insisted I complete some sort of questionnaire concerning the incident and promised assistance in securing compensation. This is clearly nothing more than a phishing attempt.

somebody rang me claiming to be from citizens advice. honestly, some folks really ought to find something better to do with their time.

They've been ringing me up about a car crash I supposedly got into, which I haven't. Got loads of calls like this on both my personal and work phone.

They had no clue about the law and just wouldn’t buzz off. Proper pushy and spouting utter rubbish. Feels like just another PPI con with a twist of being all argumentative. Honestly, this kind of behaviour just drags down real companies, if any legit PI firms even exist these days.

Initially, i'd pick up the phone and a guy with an indian accent would ask for the manager. I just said i was the manager and told him we’re not taking any calls. He was clearly trying to fish out bank details. The calls keep coming, sometimes two times daily. Now, i just ignore the phone altogether.
