Calls keep coming through but there’s never a voicemail left. Oddly enough, when I try calling back the number, it just says it’s not recognised! Very strange!

Got a call from a woman who sounded Filipino, reading some kind of loft insulation script but her English was really hard to understand. I told her straight up that her pronunciation was terrible then just ended the call.

Beware of loft insulation schemes. They lure you in with a complimentary loft survey, but it often turns into a hard-sell for overpriced 'repairs' that you didn't even want. It's all rather dodgy, if you ask me.

Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, but picked up since I was waiting on a delivery alert. There was that awkward silence at the start which always tells me they’re probably just ringing loads of numbers randomly, hoping someone answers. I used to hang up straight away, but now I just stay quiet and let the call run itself out while the phone’s just sitting there on the sill. The voice sounded Indian, no clue what his purpose was. Honestly, I just wish they’d stop bothering me.
