Got a call from someone claiming to be HMRC, but I’m pretty sure it was a scam. They tried to pressure me about some supposed unpaid taxes. Definitely be careful and don’t trust calls like that!

I received this robotic message from someone claiming to be HMRC, telling me to ring back quickly as it was a limited time deal. So I called them, only to be met by a very unfriendly bloke asking for a case number I didn’t have. Then he wanted my NI number, but I wasn’t about to give it without proof he was legit. He just told me to wait for a letter or something and immediately cut me off. Proper annoying!

Got a message on my answerphone from some automated voice saying it was HMRC. They asked for my solicitor's info and warned me I’d get into serious trouble if I didn’t reply. Sounded dodgy to me.
