Said they were calling from Royal Mail about some urgent paperwork that needed delivering and asked me to confirm my address. When I asked where they were ringing from, they said London Victoria. Definitely a scam.

Got a call at my work from someone claiming to be with Eon, but when I said I’d checked online and found out it was a scam number, they got all defensive and accused me of lying. I’ve never even had an account with Eon. They knew loads of personal info, even middle names, probably from Companies House. Told them to remove my number from their records. They've rang a couple more times after that but just hung up when I answered.

There’s this lady robot voice that talks to you and then passes you on to an actual person. It seems like some dodgy car crash scam, honestly it’s quite amusing to mess with them. I like to ask how they can sleep at night, taking money off folks who just had a car accident, especially when they’re calling right at the butt end of their long 9-to-6 workdays.
