Did a quick search later and saw that Estate Protection Group actually went bankrupt back in 2017. Dunno if it’s related but either way, I’m not keen on dealing with them.

Got a random call about some free medical alert pendant. I told him my number's ex-directory so how did he get it? Then he started asking for my personal info which felt dodgy. When I questioned him, he said his manager just gave him my number. Definitely a scam, so I just hung up.

When I asked where they got my number from, the guy rambled on about working alongside some local groups. He couldn’t actually name any of them though, just said his manager would ring me back with more info. Then he just stopped talking, so I ended the call.

I got a call from a young bloke with an English accent, he was going on about safeguarding your home equity if you ever needed care when you’re older. It was completely out of the blue and I wasn’t having it. Once he started throwing questions at me, I just ended the call.
