On Monday, I got called three times, and I’m convinced it’s a total scam.

So this bloke rings me up claiming he’s from all sorts of networks, then narrows it down to O2, saying I could get like 40% off my bill. Then he throws in some rubbish about me being one of a hundred lucky people for some deal that sounded dodgy. I asked how long I’d supposedly been with them, and the guy quickly switched the network to something called Telephonika. When I told him to take me off their list, he had the nerve to call me a “bloody bastard”. Honestly, just a scammy cold call trying to nick your details and cash.

I never actually got to talk to anyone on the call, but I could hear an Indian bloke chatting to someone else in the background along with other noises. Over the past few weeks, I’ve been getting loads of calls from folks saying they’re from Carphone Warehouse. Not too sure if this was just another random one of those.

someone rang me claiming to be from carphone warehouse, offering an amazing deal on an iphone 13 pro. i nearly got drawn in, it sounded legit enough. luckily i checked online here first before giving anything away. defo make sure your mates and family know about this, its a total scam. they keep calling from a number that looks close to mine, ends with 34 if that helps.

Got a call from a woman with a Chinese accent, didn't know the number at all. Felt like it was dodgy so I just ended the call right away.

Got a call from a guy who sounded Indian with a strong accent, said he was ringing from Carphone Warehouse. He offered an iPhone 13 Pro for just £5 a month and asked what I thought about that deal. I said my piece and ended the call. Blocked the number right after.
