Got a call from someone claiming to be with CarPhone Warehouse, but the number showed up as if it was from Consett - probably using a VPN or something. I told them straight to buzz off, pretty firmly I might add. They didn’t take it well and started swearing and spouting rubbish, no surprise there. They didn’t seem to know much about tech and wanted my email, which I refused to give. Honestly, these are just scammers trying their luck, best to steer clear completely!

Someone called claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse. Since I’m on the Do Not Call list, I don’t see how they got my number. The way they spoke didn’t seem genuine at all. I ended up just hanging up on them.

I got a call from someone saying they were Virgin Media, offering a mobile phone discount. My phone flagged it as spam straight away. I asked her what the discount was, but instead of answering, she just started breathing really loud into the phone and then suddenly ended the call. Quite odd!

Got a call from someone claiming to be with Carphone Warehouse, but it definitely sounded dodgy. There was loads of noise in the background, like other folks doing sales pitches for various firms. They even called me by a totally wrong name and when I asked what name they had for me, she just hung up right away. Pretty sure it was a scam.

I answered a call from this number on my mobile, dialled from a local landline. A lady with an Asian accent introduced herself as being from Aqua Energis or something similar. She wanted to know which network I was using. When I questioned how they got my mobile digits, she said nothing more and just ended the call. I've put the number on my block list now.
