A few days on, they rang back pretending to be from that insurer, saying I had an account there. When I told them that’s not true and they should know better, they just hung up. Definitely sketchy! Watch out!

Like I've read, if it's the NHS they usually ring from a number you might recognise or it'll show up as private, not some random call centre from who knows where. Clearly a dodgy phone call! A woman claiming to be Vicky from the “biggest debt collection agency in the UK” rang me. When I probed her about the specifics of the debt, like the amount or its origin, she couldn’t provide a single detail. The moment I challenged her credibility, she became quite irate, demanding to know who I think I am to question her, and then abruptly ended the call. Quite the dodgy affair, if you ask me!
