Got a call from some bloke asking who I’m paying life insurance to. No real company would ring up asking that sorta thing. I answered once and was rudely called a #### just for asking to be removed from their list. Its so annoying, its been this way all week.

Just had a call from an Indian chap named 'Mike' a few moments ago. He claimed to be affiliated with the Covid vaccination team and wanted to confirm a couple of particulars regarding my immunisation status. He mentioned I had received both jabs and a booster-sounds like a fair assumption, as most have. I responded affirmatively, and then he inquired if I’d experienced any symptoms post-vaccination; I informed him I hadn’t. He then went on to say, “Ah, Mr Scott, you’re quite the resilient one…”-definitely sounded like your run-of-the-mill call centre script, attempting to pitch something. After a question that I can't quite recall, he asked whether my life insurance was current. That’s when it clicked-I realised this was a cold sales call. When I pointed that out, he took it quite personally and got a bit defensive, probing why I would think such a thing. I promptly hung up and blocked the number (01206 806312).

I got a call from someone saying they were calling on behalf of the NHS, asking about my COVID 19 situation. They had an old postcode of mine and asked to confirm if it was still the right one so they could send me a letter. I wasn’t comfortable giving my new address as I wasn’t sure who I was speaking to, and as soon as I said that, the call got cut off instantly. Definitely seemed like a dodgy scam to me.

I received a call supposedly from the NHS regarding my Covid-19 vaccination details. They inquired about any side effects I might have experienced and requested access to my vaccination history. To my surprise, they also probed into my life insurance provider among other personal matters. It all seemed a bit dodgy, so I decided to block the number. Definitely felt like a scam!

These scammers are out here trying to collect your personal details to sell on some shady dark web sites, including your name, phone, and whatever else they can dig up about you. Sometimes, they’ll even ring you up trying to push bogus life insurance policies. Watch out for this kind of fraud!

Like others have said, this person said they were ringing from the NHS and some Public Health Dept, but in England, it's actually Public Health ENGLAND, not some other dept. When I didn’t respond to their questions, they threatened that they’d send people round to my house to make me confirm my health details. Make sure you log and report any calls like this if you get them. They somehow already had my name and an old address too.

Got two calls from a number saying it was the NHS covid 19 support line, but the line kept dropping and seemed pretty sketchy.

Someone called saying they were from the NHS about the Covid vaccination, asking if I had any side effects or if I’d got my vaccination card in the post. When I said I hadn’t, they then asked about my life insurance company. I told them I didn’t have one (which wasn’t true), and after that, they just said goodbye and ended the call abruptly.

Blimey, I can’t believe they actually rifled through my past address and then had the audacity to say they’d show up at my old place. I challenge you, mate. Kindly note, this isn't a mobile number and it might have been transferred outside the UK.” Unsure of its authenticity, I've decided to block it just to be safe!
