I received a call from a woman with what sounded like an Asian accent, who introduced herself as Anna from Curry's Mobile, trying to push some sort of exclusive offer. She said the company was located at 454 High Road Wembley HA9 8TS. When I pointed out that cold calling isn't allowed, she ended the conversation rather abruptly. Quite dodgy, if you ask me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Currys PC World. They kept pushing a deal on the newest iPhone or Samsung but kept asking what phone I have now. I didn’t want to say, and the woman on the line snapped, saying "I reckon you’re just wasting my time, so just f%&k off." Proper rude!

Just got a call on my phone from 01206 592018. I said hello a few times but no answer, then the line went dead. Sounds like a classic scam to me! I've put all my numbers, including my daughter's, on the TPS ages ago. Whenever I get a marketing call, I tell them the number’s on the TPS list and they’re actually breaking the law by ringing me. That usually means I don’t get any more calls from them!

This number rang me up and when I looked it up, it seemed like it could be a scam or maybe Carphone Warehouse trying to sell something. I ended up blocking it. Then I got another call shortly after, this time from Clacton. I don’t know anyone from Colchester or Clacton at all. I hardly ever get calls on this phone, so it felt strange to have two so close together.

Wasn't really clear what they were on about or who they claimed to be calling on behalf of. I caught something about a mobile upgrade deal and asked if I had an iPhone or Samsung. My phone showed a call from Colchester. The caller was quite difficult to make out, but I think it was a woman with an Asian accent who said something about Virgin. When I asked her again who she was and who she wanted, she just told me to “shut up” and then ended the call. I've blocked the number now.

I received a call from an Asian lady urging me to share my mobile number so they could supposedly find me a better offer. Honestly, I could barely make out what she was saying! I told her it sounded like a scam, and before I knew it, she just cut off the line. What a nuisance!

I came across a number I didn’t recognise, so I picked up the phone. To my surprise, there was utter silence on the other end for about three or four seconds before they simply terminated the call. I’ve since blocked the number, as I suspect it’s tied to dodgy sales tactics or some sort of scam attempt. It’s become quite a nuisance, as I’m now receiving three or four similar calls each day!
