I got a rather amusing voicemail claiming I’m owed a grand for my pension because I’m not yet 65. What a fantastic idea, eh? Just picture the delightful things I could splurge on with that! All I had to do was hit 5, and the cash would come pouring in. Of course, there was also the option to press 9 if I fancied being removed from their list, but why on earth would I want to do that when there's easy money on the table? I wouldn’t be surprised if hitting either of those numbers ends up costing me an arm and a leg on my phone bill, so I simply hung up, spouting a few colourful expletives for good measure.
