Got a recorded call saying I’m entitled to £1000 because I’m under 65, supposedly from my pension. I nearly got excited thinking about all the stuff I could splash out on. All I had to do was press 5 and the cash would start flowing. They also said I could press 9 to get off their list, but why would I want to do that when they’re offering me free money?! Of course, I reckon if you press any button, you’re just racking up charges on your phone bill. So, I just hung up after cursing them a bit under my breath.
