Received a call from someone who seems to have acquired my phone number through dodgy means. They were purporting to be associated with my life insurance, trying to sell me some so-called new perks. When pressed, they couldn't even disclose the name of my actual insurance provider. Quite the dodgy operation, if you ask me!

I received a call meant for my stepson, which took a rather sordid turn as the caller made some truly inappropriate comments. When I asked to speak with my wife, the conversation veered into similarly distasteful territory, as we had initially thought it was a discussion regarding some contract matters, given that she's the account holder. It was utterly revolting. The moment I took control of the conversation and demanded to know who he was, he swiftly hung up.

I've now received calls from Net-Work Internet Ltd. originating in Bolton and Blairgowrie. I highly doubt their intentions. Fortunately, my smartphone-which I snagged for quite a bargain and absolutely adore-flags both of these calls as potential spam. Best to ignore them and just block the number. To you, Net-Work Internet Ltd, please cease wasting both our time. I mean, really, who actually purchases anything from a cold caller? Perhaps it's time you reconsidered your career choices!
