It's definitely a scam. If you get dodgy calls or texts, make sure to let the police know. Just search for 'action fraud' on Google, head to the UK police website, then find the phishing report section. Scroll all the way down and you’ll see where you can file a report. Don't ignore these things!

He abruptly hung up after I told him to stop, saying he was sorry. Quite curious behaviour, to say the least!
