Got a call from 01204 200 286 claiming to be some Social Housing Report Team. They mostly call in the evening, sometimes ridiculously late. The voices sound Indian, and the connection is awful, making it hard to understand what they’re saying. They already have my name and start chatting about housing repairs, pretending they want to assist. Then they ask for my address and landlord details, which immediately set alarm bells ringing for me - smells like a scam to me. Hang up straight away and make sure to block that number!

Got a call from some lady with a really polished accent, claiming she was ringing from ‘Social Housing Support Fund’. There was a lot of busy noise in the background, like a busy call centre, and it took ages before someone even answered. Pretty sure it’s a scam, so I just ended the call without saying anything and blocked the number straight away. Sounds like one of those dodgy Indian call centres.
