Just like all the others, they were talking about cutting costs on appliance insurance and then asked for my bank details. When I said no way would I share that info on a call, they got quite rude.

About five mins ago I got a call where the person asked straight up for me by name. I wanted to know who was calling first before saying it was me. She then called me rude and just hung up. I tried calling back, did 1471 and got some sort of automated reply with an Asian accent telling me all their agents were busy and to wait. I just hung up after that.

Got a call from a woman saying our 3-appliance insurance was dropping from £20 to £16 a month. Sounded a bit dodgy to me, but I’m partially deaf and didn’t want to jump to conclusions. She asked for our bank details, which I gave, but when she read out the sort code, it was wrong. I told her she had to talk to my husband instead. Said she’d call back tomorrow.
